Mesotherapy against hair loss is an effective non-surgical treatment for hair growth by using the micro-injections of vitamins, medications like finasteride, biotin, minoxidil, hormones, plant extracts, amino acids, enzymes, and other ingredients into hair follicles. This treatment is also used to treat wrinkles by rejuvenating, cellulite and fat pads.

The result depends on the therapeutic substances that go in the injections; the careful selection of the substances can treat hair loss and alopecia. The deep understanding of the dermis is important in order to treat a patient-facing hair loss or baldness. This is a painless treatment that nourishes and moisturizes resulting in hair growth by increasing the density of hair formation. The technique actually works on the skin’s connective tissue, blood circulation, immune and neurosensory systems.

Through this, the skin is provided with the nutrients required that slowdowns the shrinking of the follicles. The selection of the substances is important as they will stimulate hair growth and promotes new hair production. Substances used in Mesotherapy are usually having two types:

1. Major ingredients are chosen by scientific evidence.

2. Minor ingredients that help in improving the condition.

The reason behind the hair loss is poor diet, hormonal imbalance, stress, pollution, increased amount of Dihydrotestosterone in body, anemia, thyroid, etc reduces the blood circulation of the follicles.

The treatment takes about 8–16 sessions, rest depends on the condition and how well your body is responding to the treatment. Mesotherapy is an effective treatment but is not suitable for patients who are allergic to any of the substances used in the treatment, who have any illness related to liver, kidney or heart. Pregnant or lactating women are suitable candidates for this treatment. Anyone who is on anticoagulants or has an infection on the scalp will probably be treated with Mesotherapy.

The cost of Mesotherapy depends on the medical condition of the patient and the number of sessions. This non-surgical treatment can replace surgical hair loss treatment like hair transplants. However, to attain the best results it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle with proper discipline.
